The Kriya Hotels Executive Team has a tremendous amount of experience in the hospitality industry, dating back to 1981. Our success can be seen through our portfolio and earnings growth. In 2004, Kriya Hotels formally organized to manage its principals’ growing asset portfolio. Kriya Hotels’ Executive Team strives to maximize each asset’s value, revenues and profits through commitment, attention to detail, and determination.
Our recent hotel projects have showcased Kriya’s ability to execute our strategy on various properties. Kriya has kept a laser focus on increasing revenues, total asset value, and profitability through Kriya’s aggressive sales, revenue management, digital strategy, renovations, enhanced employee training, improved logistics, and many other operational improvements.

Our Executive Team
Raj Chudasama brings professional experience in the Technology, Hospitality, and Investment Finance sectors. His expertise include all areas of finance including acquisition, disposition, refinance, and financial statement analysis. He is also involved in the day-to-day operations of all assets, hotel revenue management, and franchise relationships.
Before joining Kriya Hotels, he was in IT Project Management for Fortune 500 clients of Computer Sciences Corporation. Raj’s formal education includes a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from The University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business. His Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, from California State University, Long Beach.
Paresh Patel has many years of business startup and management experience in the commercial real estate industry.
His formal education includes an Environmental Science degree from The University of Oklahoma.
Nina Chudasama serves as a managing partner for Kriya Hotels. She graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. In 2004 Nina co-founded the hotel investment and management firm of Kriya Hotels.
Nina is passionate about creating management efficiencies for revenue and operating profit growth, in turn maximizing asset value.
Krystal Patel graduated with a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a Master of Accounting from the Ohio State University. Prior to joining Kriya Hotels, Krystal worked in a tax advisory role at Ernst & Young.
She worked in the Financial Services Office primarily servicing asset management, treasury and insurance clients. Armed with Big 4 accounting experience, Krystal has the competence to conduct meaningful financial analysis and prepare quality deliverables.
Bill Daviau brings over seven years of Hospitality Revenue Management experience ranging from a 35 room Economy hotel in rural Texas to a 300 room upscale property in downtown New Orleans. His entrepreneurial drive led him to leave his corporate career with one of the largest hospitality companies in the world and team up with Kriya Hotels.
Together with Kriya, Bill’s mission is to fill the data analytics and multi-brand Revenue Management needs that are lacking in the industry today. Bill graduated from the Cornell Hotel School with a B.S. in Hotel Administration and a Minor in Real Estate in 2009.
Laura Daviau brings over five years of revenue management experience with two of the largest hotel management companies in the country. Her experience includes working on a revenue team for a 760 room hotel in NYC, managing a luxury portfolio of eight hotels in several metropolitan markets and overseeing a 500 room portfolio of mid-scale hotels in the southern USA.
Laura joined the RevGEN team to help grow and strengthen the relationship between our hotel partners and their online presence, and she manages the Kriya Connect and Digital Strategy service pieces. Her goal is to ensure all hotel partners have the data and tools needed to put their best foot forward online. Laura graduated from the Cornell Hotel School with a B.S. in Hotel Administration.
Vice President of Operations
An accomplished hospitality veteran with corporate and entrepreneurial experience in hotel operations, franchising, sales, marketing and development, with an emphasis on strategy, planning and team-building, Minaz joined Kriya Hotels in 2016 as VP of Operations.
Prior to that, for 16 years Minaz was responsible for driving the strategic direction of Wingate by Wyndham, a midscale hotel brand within Wyndham Hotel Group. There he oversaw the development and execution of operational strategies, including revenue management, franchise sales, financial reporting, human resources and food and beverage. He then went on to assemble an investment group that sourced and acquired eight hotels in the Philadelphia market operated under brands of Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Choice Hotels International and Wyndham Hotel Group.
Minaz now leads the operations and strategic direction of the Kriya Hotels’ portfolio, with responsibilities from team building, coaching, and guest satisfaction to maximizing hotel profitability.
Regional Director - Sales & Marketing
With over twenty years of hospitality sales and management experience, Michelle’s experience includes working with Marriott International for 9 years as well as franchise companies from Hilton to Hyatt. She has held leadership positions in both sales and operations throughout out her career.
Michelle joined Kriya Hotels in 2013 as a General Manager and was later promoted to Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, she oversees the Kriya portfolios’ sales efforts to support the hotels and ensure profitability. She is very involved with the community and also leads the Kriya Impact service days we host throughout the year.
Herman W. Willis
Regional Guest Experience Manager
Herman W. Willis has more than 28 years of professional experience in a variety of successful management positions in pharmaceuticals, restaurants and hospitality. His most extensive tenure was with the pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co., where he completed his career as a member of the Elite Hall of Fame Club by receiving 5 Vice Presidents Club Awards. After joining Kriya Hotels is 2013, his unique industry experience was ideally suited for the newly developed Regional Guest Experience Management position.
In this new role, he leads the Kriya portfolio team in the development and training of staff to ensure the highest levels of hospitality and service are consistently provided. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Science from Auburn University and a Hospitality Management Certificate from Cornell University.
